Dr. Massi A. Martin is a veteran law enforcement executive with more than 29 years of progressive experience in patrol operations, criminal investigations, narcotics enforcement, education and training, and forensic science. He currently serves as the Commanding Officer of the Crime Scene Unit within the Philadelphia Police Department’s Office of Forensic Science, where he provides leadership and oversight of daily operations, administration, personnel, quality assurance, evidence management, and forensic crime-scene services. Throughout his career, Dr. Martin has held leadership and instructional roles and has served on professional boards and committees addressing crime-scene investigation, forensic science, training, and law enforcement issues. In addition to his executive responsibilities, he serves as an adjunct professor at Lincoln University in the Department of Anthropology, Sociology, and Criminal Justice, where he teaches forensic science and contributes to the professional development of future criminal justice practitioners. Dr. Martin is committed to advancing law enforcement and forensic science through professional leadership, education, organizational development, and service to the profession.
